MADINA WARSAME SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION IN MOGADISHU
The idea of building a new school in Mogadishu, in Hamar Gedit district, one of the poorest in the capital, came out during Sareeda’s trip to her homeland in 1996 after she has been away from her motherland more than six years.

Mogadishu was once a beautiful modern city but now it is destroyed, the roads no longer existed, and everything had went back to dozens of years.
.
On returning from Italy, Sareeda activated to initiate the construction of a school on a land which belonged to Madina Warsame (Mother of sareeda cali) there stood a small wooden building and plate. Now that house was collapsed down and the new school building was set up in its place.

Madiina Warsame during her life was always ready to help the weak people. The school-work began in 1998 with the completion of the first floor that hosted primary classes of the school. Madina Warsame school building was totally completed in 2002.

On 31 August 2002, Fausto Gardumi, the president of Una scuola per la vita association held the inauguration ceremony of Madina Warsame school during his visit in Somalia with the President of Somalia, C/Qaasin Salaad Xasan, some of his ministers, representatives of the institutions - including the mayor of Mogadishu, the governor, a dozen of parliamentarians, representatives of religious, and citizens of the district.
The school building was completed so it can accommodate over 800 students each school year and it has fourteen classrooms to conduct the educational activity, a computer classroom with four computers, a TV classroom , a laboratory for classroom activities, a kitchen , a large hall prepared to conduct meetings and parties for the school and the neighborhood. The school contains elementary classes (from I to IV ^ ^), middle classes (from V to VIII ^ ^), In fact, after eight years of operation elapsed since the first school activities, the children enrolled, have completed their course of study until grade eight.

These students had an examination for admission from UNESCO Organization in order to access secondary school. Regarding the students` requests, the Association had conducted courses in secondary school, so as not to interrupt their route of education.
